Samaguri Bill or Samaguri Beel is a wetland located 16 km towards the east of Nagaon district. The word beel means lake like wetland and the Samaguri Beel was formed by the abandoned path of the Kolong River with the course of time. It is also popularly known as Pokhi Tirtha or Bird Pilgrimage as a variety of species of migratory bird visit this place during winter from all over the world. The lake is situated in the Brahmaputra basin and is a famous tourist spot.
