Ethnic Village Dima Hasao

Among the many villages in the Dima Hasao district, Jatinga is a village known for a special feature occurring here which is bird suicide. Every year huge number of birds are found dead at this place due to the foggy and cloudy weather at the end of the monsoon months. This incident being a distinctive feature of the village has made it popular among the people. The Ethnic village near Jatinga is a latest tourist attraction that has come up in Haflong.
