Chinpara Vithi Barpeta

Chinpara Vithi is a famous tourist destination in Barpeta, Assam. This is the place where Srimanta Sankardeva landed from his boat. The place is located on the banks of a river named Palangdi Bori. It is from here that the saint went into the forest to serve his punishment. He stayed at the forest for six months and even established a Namghar nearby.
