In addition to this, the annual Tshechu is yet another festival held in the Gangtey Monastery with the traditional mask dances being the star attraction. Best Time to Visit Gangtey

Also, it is in the month of November when one can witness the Blacked-Necked Crane Festival. How to Reach Gangtey?

Gangtey has good road connectivity to the important tourist destination in Bhutan. Tourists planning a visit to Gangtey can reach with ease.

Tourist can board a flight to Paro and from there book a cab to reach Gangtey covering a distance of approx 166 km. Also, there are bus services available from Thimphu to Wandue Phodrang. Upon reaching Wangdue Phodrang, one can avail a shared taxi or bus to reach Gangety covering a distance of approx 65 km.
