A large part of Sarpang is a part of Royal Manas National Park, the oldest national park of Bhutan. This is also the only place in the country where you can enjoy a safari. Most of it is also environmentally protected, while the far western part of the district consists of a part of Phibsoo Wildlife Sanctuary. The top attractions here are Gelephu (a region with incredible biodiversity), Gelepu Tshachu (hot springs whose water is believed to cure diseases) and Gelephu Airport. It also hosts the Chuzangang Tshechu.

The months between October and April are the best time to visit Sarapang. The weather is pleasant making it favourable for the sightseeing tour. With the commencement of autumn, Sarpang becomes more beautiful and winter just add more charm.
Gelephu is the nearest town from where tourists can reach Sarpang. The town is well connected by buses that run from Thimphu, Punakha, Wangdue, Bumthang, Tsirang, Phuntsheoling and more. Upon reaching Gelephu, tourists can avail the cab service to reach Sarpang.
