Climate Conditions of Bhutan

If you are going to travel and you want pleasant weather, we would recommend you consider going from October to December. January and February will be colder and unbearable mainly because of the snowy Himalayans nearby. But from February to April the weather will be dry and pleasant again, you can also opt for these few months.

Beginning of May, temperatures and humidity rise, and the mountains are submerged in monsoon rains from June to September. We advise going to the Phobjikha Valley between late October and mid-February if you want to view the endangered black-necked cranes.
