Built in 1964 - Martyr's Tomb was built in the memory of eleven Assam's language movement victims. The protest was held by the people who were against the local government decision to make Assamese as an official language keeping the fact in mind that the maximum number of residents are Bengali. This incident sparked a lot of protest due to which approximately 11 people died. One of the best attractions of Silchar, the tomb has a stunning architecture built by the finest engineers.
