There are regular buses or shared taxis available from Namchi to reach Maenam. One can also hire a private taxi from Namchi if wishes to enjoy the scenic beauty by taking irregular halts in between.

The months of March to May offer the best of the weather condition to go for a trek to Maenam hill. The trails will be embellished with well-groomed trees and enchanting views of orchids and rhododendrons all around. One has to acquire permit from the forest office department before starting with the trek.
