In fact, there are only two Bon Monasteries in India; one existing in Kewzing, Sikkim and the other in Solan, Himachal Pradesh. This monastery was first established in 1980 by late Yung Dung Tsultrim and it also facilitates an institution offering Bon teachings to young students mostly belonging to less privileged families. Inside the premises of this famous monastery you can witness the many items displayed, there are a number of fascinating paintings of Bon Demonical Buddha and Bon Deity.
