Autumn brings its own opportunities, with a lot of festivals being celebrated during this time. Though landslides are common during the monsoons, it adds its own charm. However, the best time to visit Sikkim for holidays is during the summer, from March till June, when the weather is comparatively less cold and comfortably pleasant.

  • Summer in Sikkim (March to June): Ideal for mountaineering, kayaking, river rafting, and hang gliding, witnessing rhododendrons and orchids in their full glory. Important festivals during this time include the International Flower Festival, and the Saga Dawa.
