Malgund Village Ganpatipule

Calm, and tranquil village that is as pretty as a picture - Malgund rose to fame because of being the birthplace of the famous Marathi poet - Krishnaji Keshav Damle, popularly known as Keshavasuta. In the village, one can find monuments and museums that are dedicated to the work of Keshavasuta. The museum tells about most of the modern-day poets of the Marathi language. The memorial is for people interested in Marathi literature. Malgund also houses Nirmal Nagari of Her Holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi of Sahaja Yoga fame.
