Sacred to Lord Shiva, Kondeshwar Temple is magnificent inside out. Not only its location amidst the green dressed hills is droolworthy but also its old Hemadpanthi style of structure is a treat for eyes. The main sanctum of the temple features the shrine of Lord Shiva. Best time to visit here would be during the Shivratri Festival as this is when one can see the temple in its complete glory. Close to the temple, there's a waterfall that often remains thronged with tourists for picnics.
Apart from the lake, there are many other waterfalls that are equally beautiful and can be considered for swimming.
Near the temple, one can visit the Kondeshwar Lake, which is formed by the Bhoj Dam. Out here, tourists are often seen enjoying picnic and swimming in the lake.
