Kune Waterfalls Khandala

Offering a contrast of blue and green, Kune Falls are located on the old Mumbai- Pune highway; right between Lonavala and Khandala. Dropping down from a height of 200 meters at a cohesive force, the three-tiered waterfall is country's 14th largest. It is split into two section with the highest spot at about 100 m. The pool formed by this waterfall is an ideal spot for swimming and bathing. Rappelling and zip lining is quite prominent too. With its lush greenery, a waterfall is an ideal place for a picnic. Make sure to savor some raw mangoes from the trees or the ripe Afooz or Alfonso mangoes famous around this area.

Getting There

Kune is 83 kilometers away from Mumbai. The waterfall is located on the old Mumbai-Pune Highway. Stop at the Kune Church on way to Lonavla, closest landmark to the waterfall, and start trekking for few minutes.
