The closest airport is Calicut International Airport, which is about 23 kms from Kozhikode town. From there the Thusharagiri waterfalls are about 50 kms.
You can easily reach Thusharagiri waterfalls from Kozhikode town via national highway 766 Wayanad road joining to link road via highway number 34 and 68.
You can see a lot of KSRTC and private buses plying on the route, however, you can also get private transportation from the airport and the railway station to reach Thusharagiri.

You can visit Thusharagiri waterfall throughout the year because the waterfalls are never dry and they keep pouring all day long. However, the best time to see a waterfall or to expect a gushing waterfall is during monsoon season only. But due to slippery conditions, the monsoon season is not an ideal time to visit. The best time to visit Thusharagiri waterfall of Kerala is from September until December.
