Day 1

Arrival at Bagdogra Airport and Head to Darjeeling (65 Kms / 2:30 Hrs)

Arrive at the Bagdogra Airport where our representative will meet you and assist in transferring to Darjeeling. Upon arrival at Darjeeling check in to your hotel for a night stay.

Day 2

At Darjeeling

Today, early in the morning, visit Tiger Hills (8364 ft / 2550 Mts at around 04 Am) to witness the sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather).

Later, drive back to the hotel and en route, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After the breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day guided tour to Darjeeling.

Visit Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan refugee self help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate.

Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

Day 3

Darjeeling - Kalimpong (49 Kms / 2 Hrs)

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Kalimpong. Upon arrival in Kalimpong, check-in to your hotel. After taking some rest, proceed for a half-day guided tour to Kalimpong.

Visit Kalimpong Durpin Dara (view point), Zang Dhok Palri Fo-Brang Monastery, Flower & Orchid Nurseries, and Dello Hill.

Rest of the day will be free for your leisure activities.

Day 4

Kalimpong - Gangtok (74 Kms / 3 Hrs)

Today, after breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Gangtok. En route enjoy river rafting (pay the cost). Upon arrival in Gangtok, check in to your hotel for a night stay.

In the evening time, you will be free to visit Lal bazaar and local shops.

Day 5

Gangtok - Tsomgo Lake - Baba Mandir - Gangtok (32 Kms / One Way)

After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (In case of landslide or any reason Tsomgo Lake is closed, we will provide alternate sightseeing options) at the height of 12400 ft / 3780 Mts with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the lake is perfectly attuned with the surrounding scenic beauty.

Day 6

Gangtok - Phuentsholing (223 Kms / 5:30 Hrs)

Today, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Phuentsholing (Bhutan’s Border Town).

Upon arrival in Phuentsholing, check in to your hotel for a night stay.

Day 7

Phuentsholing - Thimphu (176 Kms / 4:30 Hrs)

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Thimphu. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. After resting for some time, take a walk to the nearby areas. Visit local markets, enjoy street food, and communicate with local people, etc.

Day 8

At Thimphu

Today morning, after breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day guided tour to Thimphu. Visit Tashichhodzong, BBS Tower, Government Run Handicraft Emporium, National Memorial Chorten, Buddha View Point, Folk Heritage, National Textile Museums, National Institute of Traditional Medicine (outside view) and Zoo.

Return to the hotel, rest of the day is free.

Day 9

Thimphu - Punakha (75 Kms / 2:30 Hrs)

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Punakha. En route visit Dochula Pass (3,050 Mts) that offers enchanting views.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Later, proceed for a half day guided tour to Punakha. Visit Punakha Dzong, which is strategically built at the confluence of the Pho Chu (male) and Mo Chu (female) rivers by the first Shabdrung of Bhutan, Ngawang Namgyel in 1637.

Return to the hotel, rest of the day is free. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10

Punakha - Wangdue Phodrang - Paro (130 Kms / 4:30 Hrs)

Today, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Paro. En route visit Wangdue Phodrang, Wangdue Dzong, and the local market. Continue driving to Paro and on the way visit the scenic Dochula Pass and Simtokha Dzong.

Upon arrival in Paro, check in to your hotel for a night stay.

Day 11

Paro

After breakfast, hike to Paro Taktsang, which is popularly known as the Tiger’s Nest Monastery and is situated at 3180 meters. You will also visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, built in the 7th century.

Day 12

Paro – Kathmandu

Transfer to Paro Airport to board a flight to Kathmandu. Arrive at Paro Airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 13

At Kathmandu

In the morning, visit Bhaktapur, which is the best preserved city of Nepal. Bhaktapur houses three major squares that are adorned with lofty temples that reflect fine craftsmanship.

In the afternoon, we shall visit Patan, which is located in the suburbs of Kathmandu, separated only by Baghmati River. The Durbar Square here houses the best collection of temples and palaces. It comprises the Royal Palace, which encompasses an opulently ornamented bathtub, and the two-tiered brick Jagannarayan Temple.

Return to Kathmandu for a night stay at the hotel.

Day 14

At Kathmandu

We will start our Kathmandu sightseeing tour with visiting Durbar Square, which was a royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century. The palace is also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is surrounded by architecture displaying the skills of Newar craftsmen.

Visit one of most beautiful attractions in the city, Kumari Chowk. It is the house of the living goddess. Later, visit Swayambhunath, which is an ancient religious complex perched on a hill in the Kathmandu valley. It is also known as the Monkey Temple and is an important Buddhist pilgrimage site.

In the afternoon, visit Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhnath. Pashupatinath Temple is the oldest Hindu shrine in Nepal and the most sacred place of worship for Hindus. Later, visit Boudhnath Stupa which is the largest stupa in Asia. The stupa was built in the 14th century and is the holiest Buddhist Temple outside Tibet. Return to the hotel for a night stay at the hotel.

Day 15

Leave Kathmandu

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
