How to Reach Mon

Mon is a far away address from the rest of tourist destinations and since it is located close to Burma they share close relations with the 'Burmese.' The journey can get a lot bumpy and for those who are an easy victim of motion sickness can get a lot worst but once you arrive Mon you will feel all the trouble travelling is worth it.

By Air:

Now, Mon is a destination where it is impossible to get a direct route by air but the closest airport to Mon is Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport and Dimapur Airport. From there on you can either take a bus or hire a cab to Mon.

By Rail:

The closest railway station to Mon is Dimapur railway station and Guwahati railway station. However, Mariani Junction railway station can also be considered close to Nagaland destinations.

By Road:

Mon, in fact, the entire Nagaland's lifeline is via roadways. You will find buses and taxis for hire from every airport and railway stations. You can also get into a Nagaland State Transport (NST) buses that run to and fro around Nagaland.
