About Peer Baba Dargah in Jammu

Peer Baba Dargah is a holy shrine located in close distance to Tawi River and visited by people belonging to all religions and faiths, who come here to receive the divine blessings. This popular religious site in Jammu and Kashmir is dedicated to the famous Sufi saint, Peer Budhan Ali Shah. This highly respected Sufi saint, who was a great friend of Guru Gobind Singh, is believed to have lived his entire life by drinking only milk and lived 500 years. It is believed that the Dargah of Peer Baba protects the people of the city from any evil spirits or unfortunate incidents, while offering flowers or chaddar at this holy place is believed to bring about the fulfilment of any desires that a person may have.
