Koldam Dam Bilaspur

The Koldam Dam Hydropower Project of the NTPC Limited is popularly known as KolDam and it is another tourist attraction in Bilaspur that draws large number of people from different parts of the country. The Koldam Dam was planned to start in 2000 and its first brick was fixed in the same year by Atal Bihari Vajpayee, but the proper construction started in 2004 and current it is under construction on the Sutlej River on the national highway 21.
