Vandanmedu Kerala

Vandanmedu is a wonderful village located in the high mountain ranges of Western Ghats in Idukki district of Kerala. This place is famous for its large production of Cardamom in the world because of the good climate conditions and soil. Most of the area in this place is covered with green dense forest and rough mountains. It is said to be that British planters were the first one those who found out the opportunities for planting cardamom, coffee and pepper in this region.
