Not many people would have heard of Netravali Falls, as it is located inside the Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary. To reach the waterfall, you will have to undertake a 3 kilometers trek inside the sanctuary, along with a guide.

The waterfall is located in the middle of a dense forest. It is an exceptionally beautiful sight to come across, as the waterfall sharply cuts its way through dense forests & gently empties into the lake at the bottom.

The water of the lake is greenish, but very clean & perfect for enjoying a bath, swim or a dip. The environment around the waterfalls is calm, cool & pleasant. You should remember though, that locally, these waterfalls are popularly known as “Savari Falls”, and not Netravali Falls.

Best Time to Visit Netravali Waterfalls

Monsoons, or the months from June to August, is the best time to visit the Netravali Waterfalls.

How to Reach Netravali Waterfalls

To reach this waterfall, you will first have to reach the main gate of Netraval National Park, which is located about 2 hours drive from Margao city. From there, you will have to leave your vehicle & walk for about 15-20 minutes. Upon arriving, you will have to descend about 200 steps.
