How To Reach Alibag

Lying on the coast of Konkan in the state of Maharashtra, Alibag is the perfect gateway to absolute serenity and is easily reached by road, rail and air. Though the best recommended conveyance is through an hour’s journey on a ferry that plies from the Gateway Of India, in the city of Mumbai to Rewas from where one is free to choose to travel by bus, car or cab.

By Air:

Alibaug is devoid of an airport and thus, Chhatrapaji Shivaji International Airport stationed some 113 kilometers away from the coastal town is the nearest airport that connects the town with all the major cities and states of India.

By Rail:

Alibaug lacks connection with the Central Railway thus creating bit of inconvenience, though trains can be availed from two of the nearby railway stations. One being Roha that is about 50 kilometers and the other being Parvel that is about 85 kilometers away.

By Road:

MSRTC buses that operates from the city of Mumbai every 1 hour is the best possible means to reach Alibaug, besides, the option of availing the cab service I also open. In case of accompanying a large group of family or friends, a private bus should be one of the best options.
