Birla temple is located at a distance of 10 km from Jaipur. Considered as one of the jewels of Rajasthan, Birla temple complex encompasses natural fresh water from 7 water tanks. The magnificent structure of this shrine is made with red sandstone and seems like a 'havali' rather than a temple. Galtaji is famous for the many tribes of monkeys that dwell in this area.
The religious hymns and chants, combined with the natural setting, provide a peaceful ambience for anyone who visits there. It is believed that Saint Galav spent his life meditating and performing penance at Galtaji. The main deities of the temple include Lord Hanuman and the Sun God.
