By Air:
There are three major airports in Rajasthan, namely Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jodhpur that operates both domestic and International flights, connecting cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Thiruvananthapuram, etc. If you are travelling Rajasthan from Delhi then Jaipur is the most convenient entry point, but if you are planning to enter it from Mumbai then Udaipur will be the best choice.
By Rail:
Rajasthan is well-linked to all the major cities of India such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkatta, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and others, through railway lines and it has its major railway stations in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, and Udaipur. These stations are well-connected to the other important cities of Rajasthan, including Kota, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Alwar, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Jaisalmer, etc. For a royal journey to Rajasthan, you can take "Palace on Wheels," which runs through Jaipur and offer fabulous royal splendor of Rajasthan.
By Road:
There is a good network of National Highways and State Highways in Rajasthan, which covers the entire state and link it to the other major cities of India excellently. It has approximately 5,655 km length if national highway and 8,627 km of state along with four lanes NH-8 passing through Jaipur, Udaipur, and Agra. Also, Rajasthan is only 5 hours drive from Delhi and so most of the tourists prefer to travel it by road. The bus service to and from Rajasthan is very much convenient to use.
