Cactus Garden, Parwanoo

Built in the year 1987 by Dr. J.S. Sarkaria, Cactus Garden is located in close proximity to Panchkula Interstate Bus Terminus and 33 km away from Parwanoo. It is one of the popular gardens in the region that houses around 3,500 species of cacti and some endangered Indian species. Sprawled over an area of 7 acres, this garden is known to be one of the largest cactus gardens in the Asian region. A number of tourists and botanists step in here to explore the different types of cacti. The garden includes three greenhouses that are well equipped with climate control services.
