Meenmutty Waterfalls Kalpetta

One of the tallest waterfalls in Kerala, Meenmutty Falls is nestled amidst the lush green area of Mepadi forest range, under the South Wayanad forest division, at Chitragiri on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. It is regarded as a three-tiered waterfall of the streams which gain its fierce strength during the months of monsoon. Like other waterfalls of the region, Meenmutty waterfalls offer a perfect backdrop for the trekkers to indulge in hiking activity. It is also an ideal tourist place for the nature lovers who can spend their time enjoying the breathtaking beauty of the fall and its surroundings.

Getting There

The waterfall is situated about 29 kms from Kalpetta in Wayanad district. One can take a bus or hire a taxi from Kalpetta to reach Meenmutty. A 2kms trek takes one to this beautiful waterfall.
