Kappal Matha Church Tirunelveli Tamil Nadu

Constructed in the year 1974, Kappal Matha Church is located on the seashore around 70 km from Tirunelveli. Devotees visit this pristine shrine to offer their prayers and to pay homage to Mother Mary for which the church is devoted to. The earlier construction of the church got damages in the sea erosion, and thus, the locals decided to build a new church and that too of seaplane architecture design.
