How To Reach Jalgaon

The Jalgaon city is very well connected by road, railway and air to other nearby cities. Tourists can opt for any suitable means of travel to reach the city.

By Air

The Chikkalthana Airport at Aurangabad is the closest Domestic Airport which takes about three hours by car from Jalgaon. This airport is connected to many important cities like Mumbai, New Delhi, Nagpur, etc. As for the International Airport there is the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai which is about 412 kms away from Jalgaon. Frequent flights are available from both these airports.

By Rail:

One can also reach here by rail. The Jalgaon Railway Junction connects to the important cities of Maharashtra. The Lokmanya Tilak Express, Navjeevan Express and Karnataka Express connects Jalgaon with other major cities like Lucknow, Mysore, Mumbai, Kanyakumari, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru.

By Road

Tourists can also travel to Jalgaon by bus from cities such as Pune, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Indore and Surat. Consequently there are also buses available from Jalgaon to the above mentioned cities.

The local transport in the city is also well developed, people can easily move about from one place to another within the city without any hassles. In the year 2009, a new bus service called ‘JMTU’ had been started by the Jalgaon Municipal Corporation. Many people avail this bus in their transit and they are providing the best services till date.
