The best places to stay will be government-run circuit houses, PWD Guest Houses, tourist lodge, forest rest house and inspection bungalows. All the hotels are located close to the sanctuary premises and there is a circuit house in Tezu district as well.
How to Reach
Kamlang Wildlife Sanctuary is easily accessible via roadways and you can get regular bus services from Tezu and Tinsukia. However, the regular means of transportto reach Arunachal Pradesh are mentioned below.
By Air
The nearest airport is at Dibrugarh located at a distance of 173 kilometres and it has regular flights flying from Guwahati and Kolkata. From here, you can avail prepaid taxis to reach the sanctuary via Tinsukia.
By Rail
The nearest railway station to Kamlang wildlife sanctuary is Tinsukhia railway station. This station provides direct bus to the sanctuary; you can also get a taxi service from here.

To reach Kamlang wildlife sanctuary you need to cross Tinsukia from Dibrugarh and you can reach via national highway 15. There are regular buses provided by Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Services (APSTS) and Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC).

The best time to visit Kamlang Wildlife Sanctuary is from the months of October to April. The temperature ranges between 8°c - 14°c during this time and it is dry letting the visitors enjoy a day with sightseeing activities.
