The 12N/13D tour starts from the alluring city of Aizwal, which is considered to be a haven in the lap of nature. From its alluring lush green hills to its captivating Mizo culture, Aizwal would be a pleasant surprise to start the memorable North East India tour. After Aizwal, the caravan reaches the scenic wonder of Imphal. A town with a rich history and culture, which the Manipur takes a great pride in, Imphal offers the best insight into the Manipuri culture. The remains of Kangla Fort is a painful reminder of the danger of losing our culture and heritage but Imphal has managed a great deal to preserve its history and culture. Imphal offers many scenic tourist attractions like Loktak Lake, Sada Chiru Waterfall and Sendra Island. After Imphal, we reach Kohima, the land of tribes. Nagaland is one of the few states in the world which has managed to preserve its tribes and history associated with it. Considered to be fierce people, Naga tribes take great pride in their centuries-old culture and tradition. Another major attraction on this North Easter Tour is the Kaziranga National park which boasts of its largest Rhino population in the world. One-horned Rhinos are the major attractions in the park. After Kaziranga, we will reach the scintillating Shillong. Shillong is a perfect blend of nature and man-kind with Shillong offering the best of both the worlds. From its scenic natural wonders to its museums and war memorials, Shillong will provide you with a new perspective of Indian history.

Wettest region on Earth, Cherrapunjee is also on the itinerary. From its tree bridges to its caves and waterfalls, Cherrapunjee provides you with the much-needed rejuvenation session on the tour. While you might want to soak in the serenity of North India as much as possible, the last destination Guwahati would be the picture-perfect way to end the memorable long trip of North East India. Itinerary

Itinerary
    • The trip starts with the arrival in Aizawl with necessary formalities for Inner Line Permit. You will be welcomed by our executive who will escort you to the hotel.
    • Check in at the hotel and relax for the day, food will be served at the hotel.
    • The morning starts with a lavish breakfast in the hotel after which the caravan would leave for Aizawl sightseeing tour.
    • The first tourist destination in Aizawl is State museum which exhibits the state’s social and cultural history. The museum has 5 sections - Textile Gallery, Ethnology, Anthropology, History and Natural History.
    • The next stop is Bara Bazaar which the biggest shopping hub in Aizawl where you can shop for local handicrafts, traditional clothing and many other exotic items.
    • Moving on from Bara Bazaar we will proceed to the village of Falkwan which is a model village. The village depicts the traditional lifestyle of Mizo people and exhibits the vibrant traditions and practices of the locals.
    • Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
    • Morning breakfast at the hotel is followed by a ride back to the airport for next destination of Imphal.
    • Upon reaching Imphal airport, you will be welcomed by our executive who will accompany you to the Hotel Classis.
    • After checking in, lunch would be served at the hotel.
    • After lunch, the caravan would proceed to explore Kangla Fort and Ima market. Once located on either side of the Imphal river, now only the ruins of Kangla fort remains on the western side of the river. The fort was home to the Meetei rulers of Manipur. Ima market is the world’s only market which is completely run by women. You can buy ethnic handicrafts and clothing from this market.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Imphal.
    • Day 4 of the trip to North East India starts with a stupendous breakfast in the hotel.
    • Today’s day is for Imphal sightseeing tour and the first tourist destination is Shree Govindajee temple which is a centre of Vaishnava culture in Manipur. The temples are devoted to Radha Govinda, Balram & Krishna, Jagannath, Subhadra and Balabhadra.
    • After that, we will proceed to Loktak lake which is the largest freshwater lake in the state. The lake resembles an inland sea. You can explore the local fishermen village residing by the lake.
    • The next tourist destination is INA memorial in Imphal which is famous as the place where first time Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose hoisted Indian tri-colour.
    • One of the most famous tourist destinations in Manipur, Japanese War memorial would be the next destination on the tour. Indian soldiers fought the Japenese at this spot, during World War II.
    • The last destination for the day would be the mesmerising Sadu Chiru Waterfall.
    • Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Imphal.
    • Early morning breakfast in the hotel would be followed by 5-hour drive to our next destination, Kohima.
    • Enroute Nagaland, explore the nearby villages to explore the tribal culture of Nagaland.
    • Upon arriving at Nagaland, check in at Hotel.
    • Rest of the day is for rest and dinner would be served at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Nagaland.
    • Breakfast would be served in the hotel after which the caravan would depart for Angami Naga Village and Khonoma village. The village is known for its centuries-old Naga tribe, Angami Naga tribe. The tribe has always been popular for their valour and fiercely independent mindset.
    • Return back to Kohima for lunch.
    • After lunch depart to visit World War cemetery in Kohima.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at Kohima.
    • Morning starts with breakfast in the hotel after which we would drive to Kaziranga National Park, which is 4 hours’ drive from Kohima.
    • Upon arriving at Kaziranga National Park, check in at the hotel.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
    • The day starts early after which we will leave for Elephant Safari.
    • After Safari, breakfasts would be served at the lodge of Kaziranga National Park.
    • After breakfast, the caravan would proceed to Jeep safari of the National Park. Kaziranga National Park is an abode of One Horn Rhino.
    • After Safari, return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
    • After breakfast in Kazrinaga, we will depart for Guwahati which is 5 hours drive from Kaziranga National Park.
    • Upon arriving in Guwahati, check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is for rest.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Guwahati.
    • Early morning breakfast would be served at the hotel in Guwahati after which we will depart for our next destination, Shillong.
    • Enroute Shillong, visit Don Bosco Museum. Considered as one of the most high-tech museums in India, Don Bosco Museum focused on the indigenous people, tools and their cultures and traditions.
    • Upon reaching Shillong, check in at the hotel.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
    • Early morning breakfast served in the hotel after which we will depart for Cherrapunjee while covering tourist attractions in Shillong.
    • The first tourist destination in Shillong en route Cherrapunjee is Shillong Peak. Shillong Peak is the highest point in Shillong. You can have a bird’ eye view of the entire city and also witness the Bangladesh plains. Shillong Peak provides a breathtaking view of entire Shillong city with all its natural wonders.
    • The next destination is Elephant Falls. One of the must-visit places in Shillong, the mesmerising waterfall is a natural wonder. The three-level waterfalls resemble an elephant, hence the name Elephant falls.
    • Upon arriving in Cherrapunjee, we will visit Mausami Caves. Cherrapunjee is the wettest place on Earth. Believed to be the only cave in Meghalaya lit enough for tourists to enjoy the natural wonder.
    • The next tour stop is Naukalikai Falls and Seven Sisters Falls.
    • The last destination on the itinerary is Ram Krishna Mission.
    • Return back to Shillong for dinner and overnight stay in the hotel at Shillong.
    • Early morning breakfast at the hotel after which the caravan departs for Guwahati.
    • Upon arriving at the hotel in Guwahati, check-in and leave for Guwahati sightseeing tour.
    • The first destination is the Kamakhya temple. The temple is dedicated to mother goddess Kamakhya. The main temple complex of Kamakhya temple is dedicated to ten Mahavidyas.
    • The next destination is Umananda temple which is nestled on an Island in Brahmaputra River. We will ferry across to the Island temple. The main deity residing in the temple is Lord Shiva.
    • Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
    • After an early morning breakfast at the hotel depart for Guwahati airport, thus marking the end to the mesmerising North East tour.
