Culture, Tribe & Nature: Alluring Kohima Imphal Tour

North East India is one such part where every state and every city has a distinct culture. If we were to describe it in one word, the correct word would be -- diversity. Nestled in the North East mountains of India, Nagaland is a state of mystery and unheard secrets. A natural wonder fused with an enchanting culture, Nagaland offers a memorable tour served on a silver platter. The Highlanders of Nagaland have managed to preserve man’s most innate, animalistic cultures alongside their ancient traditions and practices. While many countries have lost their oldest tribes, Nagaland has managed to preserve it and exhibits the tribal traditions with pride. While the major attraction of Kohima resides in its centuries-old tribes, natural scenic landscapes also attract many tourists. From lush green valleys to a serene environment blessed with solitude, Kohima is a picture-perfect tourist destination. The untouched and unexplored raw culture and landscape of Kohima make up for a perfect short trip destination in North East India.

In the neighbouring state of Manipur lies another picture-perfect wonderland, Imphal. The capital city Imphal is a blend of breathtaking scenic beauty and enchanting culture. A land of diversity, Imphal offers a diverse range of tourist attraction. From its serene Loktak Lake to its divine Shree Govindajee Temple to alluring local villages, Imphal has something in store for everybody. From a market run by women to Japanese War memorial, Imphal offers an insight into the history of North East India. Combined together, Kohima and Imphal offer a picture-perfect insight into the culture and history of one part of North East India. The short tour also allows you to rejuvenate your body and mind in the comforts of nature.
