Muir College Prayagraj

One of the most stunning historical buildings in Prayagraj is of Muir College. This is a good place to visit in Prayagraj for history lovers. Established by William Muir, the Lt. Governor of United Province in the year 1872, Muir College is located in the downtown of the city. The college was designed by a British architect - William Emerson and boasts an impressive Gothic style of architecture which also includes a central dome. Till 1921, Muir College had an independent status, after which, it came under the Allahabad University.
