When water on the surface of the earth get in touch with the hot rocks within and re- emerges on the surface carrying along the heat with it, hot springs are formed. In volcanic areas, hot magma oozing out of the earth heats up the surface water that comes in contact with it to form hot springs. The Talvriksh Hot spring of Alwar is renowned for its sulphur content. Legend has it, Mandav Rishi had inflicted punishment on himself at Talvriksh.
A warm bath in the hot sulphur spring can stimulate the circulation of blood and flow of oxygen in your body which leave you refreshed and energized. In addition, there is a temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. On the Narayanji Road there is a holy tree named Talvrikshya. The langurs, the ringing temple bells and the therapeutic bath set up a perfect aura for pilgrimage.
So, heal yourself by taking a dip into the spring and enjoy the rejuvenation.
