Hanuman Vatika, a beautifully designed garden adorned with a 75m high Lord Hanuman’s statue. Established in the year 1994, the garden is located on the ring road right next to Rourkela General Hospital in the city of Rourkela. This place is named after Asia’s largest Hanuman statue which is placed in this garden and is constructed by Sri Lakshman Swami of Hyderabad. Spread over a massive 13 acres of area, this place has various other temples which include Batta Mangala Devi, Jagannath Temple, Maa Kali, Ganesha, Sherawali, Santoshi Maa, 12 Jyotirlingas, and Lakshmi Temple. Recently, the temple of Sai Baba has added at this place that houses an image of Sai Baba which resembles the same of Shirdi Sai Baba. Besides, for public gatherings, marriages, and functions, there is a separate area called Kalyan Mandap. Because of its unique and serene setting, Hanuman Vatika has become one of the prime tourist attractions of Rourkela within a short period of time.
