Hardly few kilometer from Along is a beautiful yet pristine attraction of Arunachal Pradesh - Kazu. Though the village is quite close to Along yet it is far away from the civilization. Dressed in green with an abundance of solitude, the place offers calm and quiet environment. Make a point to meet and greet the locals so to understand their culture, art, performances and weaving techniques practiced here. If given an opportunity, do visit their houses as they have quite a unique architecture. The suspension bridge near the village offers the stunning of the sun gliding below and above the horizon.
Getting There
Kazu village is easily accessible by every possible means of transport. The best way will be to take a taxi from Along, which will charge Rs 20 to reach Kazu.
Things to Do & See in and around
You can visit the Patum Bridge, which is quite close to Kazu. If possible, try to meet and greet locals and do try the fish and chicken made by them in bamboo. Photographers - take permission before clicking pictures as they believe that being photographed takes away your soul.
