Inside the temple, there is a white image of the presiding deity which is erected in the padmasana posture. The history of the sacred place dates back to the time of Lord Adhishvar.

The place where the temple is located, is believed to be the holy land of the four Kalyanakas of Lord Sambhavnath - birth, chayan, attainment and diksha.
