How to Reach Gokul?

Located 10 km from the popular Hindu pilgrimage destination, Mathura, Gokul is pretty easy to reach. Well-connected by air, train, and road, the pilgrimage destination has good connectivity with every major Indian city.

By Air:

The nearest airport is in Agra, which is 54 km from Gokul. You can book a taxi to reach Gokul from Agra airport. However, air connectivity of Agra airport is not the best with fewer flights. As an alternative, you can reach here from Jaipur airport (232 km) or Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi (186 km). You can book a taxi from either airport to reach Gokul.

By Train:

The nearest railway station is in Mathura, which is 7 km from the town. You can book a taxi to reach Gokul from the railway station. Mathura railhead is well-connected to other Indian cities like Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai.

By Road:

Gokul is well-connected via roads and reaching here via road is fairly easy. Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation operates many buses to and from Mathura and Gokul. The town also has numerous state highways and national highways like Yamuna Expressway and Taj Expressway passing close to Gokul, making road connectivity pretty good.
