LohaghatThe town situated amidst tall deodar trees along the banks of the river Lohawati is an important scenic. 62 kms from Tanakpur, was once the cultural centre of the Kingdom of Chand dynasty.

Devidhura: 45 kms from Lohaghat Devidhura is famous for its Varashi temple, where the traditional Bagwal (organised Stone throwing between two groups) is held once every year on Raksha Bandhan.

Vanasur Ka Kila: 6 kms from Lohaghat. This historical fort is situated at an elevation of 1892 mtrs. above sea level.
