Shahi Mosque Cuttack

Another mosque in Cuttack is Shahi Mosque, located inside the fort Barabati. Known for its highly revered religious significance and astonishing architecture, Shahi Mosque is one of the prominent tourist attractions in Cuttack, Odisha. This more than 300-year old mosque with domes and minarets that resemble (to some extent) the striking architectural style of Qadam-E-Rasool. The imposing architecture design of this mosque is constructed with tiles and stones. It is also said that during the British rule, the mosque was used as a Magazine as it is clearly visible from the two Mihrabs on the edges which are closed with bricks.
