Komsing Arunachal Pradesh

On the left bank of Siang river nestles the beautiful and serene Komsing village, which rose to prominence when the Noel Williamson was murdered here when he carrying the message of the death of King Edward VII to the tribal chiefs. As a proof of this event, here one can see the grave of Captain Noel Williamson’s. It still has its original stone inscription and a more recent brass plaque “On this spot was murdered Noel Williamson, Assistant Political Officer Sadiya, 31st March 1911”.
