Aster is a very big group of hospitals. A wide range of doctors of different backgrounds have been associated with Aster Hospital. It has a specific departments, that you can choose like other hospitals for various reasons. Aster is a private hospital and the reason why I am mentioning that is because of cost involved in taking treatment at this hospital. You should be covered under some good health insurance, which will enable you to absorb the cost of the treatments. It is expensive for many, reasons which includes a of the state of machinery used, experienced doctor's, learned nurses and other facilities. If you have any policies that cover 24/7. Facilities services, medical emergencies, please ensure you have a good finical backup before you get any one for treatment at this hospital. Very well managed staff and there is help and support almost all corners of the hospital. I am not sure, about any other things that I have not observed, this is purely based on my interaction with the hospital.

Most of the reviews were forcibly asked by staff to write on the spot. This hospital lacks basic amenity in providing the bed to the attenders when the patient is in icu. They don't care if the attenders sleeps or not, most of them will be sleeping on the floor and sofas.

Dear Aster team, My wife Jasmeet Kaur Bhasin gynaec opd patient of your hospital with id ABH 0010700266389 and she was supposed to get admitted for her delivery on 30th Jul ,after completing her 37th week of pregnancy due to some complication as told by your doctor Dr Bharti Kamojee (so called Gynecologist) She had to get the mandatory covid test on 27 th Jul. But to our utter dismay,we came to know that she had tested positive ,when she received a call from BBMP #BBMP officials on 28th Jul and all the covid protocols followed thereafter. We were totally heartbroken and whole family insisted that we should do the test again, because we have been taking all necessary precautions due to her upcoming delivery. So, she gave sample for another test at home on 28th jul evening. Only when they took the swabs of both her nasal and throat area,it came to our notice that the Aster lab’s team had taken only her nasal swab and not the throat sample lab test was done by Chethan (Aster Lab Head) And we may be wrong but to our total disbelief,we have found out that the actual procedure entails taking both the samples for the RT-PCR and your team has actually carried out her incomplete test and have put her in an undue harrassment and mental torture. At this point of her pregnancy, it could have affected the safety of our unborn child as well. This is totally unprofessional and unsafe when the entire country is facing this dangerous pandemic and can put many in danger, leave alone the social stigma attached to this disease. And we are not sure of how it is possible to get negative within 48 hours of previous test, but this certainly points out to the apathy of your staff, towards the people and this growing pandemic. She was told that she had developed a complication which could harm the baby, and told her to get admitted for delivery on completion on my 37th week only. But because of your team's negligence her delivery was delayed due to quarantine putting our baby at risk. I would request accountability of the actions of your team and that it is addressed immediately ,so that nobody else has to go through the same trauma again. And request the reason as to why, test was done in this manner . We were in no position to comment on the alternate correct ways of doing the test, but wherever we have searched, it has led us to the fact that both samples are required for proper testing. And after even (with a negative test report in hand, we were still being taken as suspected positive & have to taken the pain of getting the test again in near future until it repeatedly comes negative) so we did the test again third time just to make sure she's not having Covid postive and guess what it's again negative (so in last 5 days we have got 2 negative reports)
