    The nearest airport is the Jolly Grant situated in Dehradun and is about 285 km from the town. When you get down at  Dehradun, there are regular local buses and taxis which you can board to reach here.

    The nearest railhead to this town is the Rishikesh Railway Station, which is about 273 km from this town, however, the closeby Haridwar Railway Station has better connectivity and thus is a more preferred railhead. Once you get down at the station, you can book a cab for Govindghat.

  • By Road

    Located alongside the national highway, Govindghat is very-well connected to the major cities and towns of Uttarakhand, like Rishikesh, Haridwar, Srinagar. There are many interstate buses as well that run between the major cities of Uttarakhand and Govindghat giving a better access to the town.
