Kollam is situated around hour and a half away from the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram, which is well-connected to most of the part of the country with all three means of transport. A ferry boat station in Kollam also connects it to major port cities of India.

By Air:

Trivandrum International Airport is just 66 Km away from Kollam, which is considered as the most nearest airport. Other domestic airports are also available at Mumbai, Chennai, and Bangalore that ply to Kollam. International flight services are also available at Trivandrum to reach Kollam on daily basis from various abroad places like Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait, Muscat, Male, Doha, Singapore, Colombo, etc.

By Ferry:

The ferry boat station is situated next to the Kollam bus stand, which is at the distance of 3 km from the railway station. Well, boat jetty is also a stirring way to access several places in Kerala.

By Road:

Kollam is well connected by road via NH-47, NH-220 and NH-208. There are regular interstate buses that run in this route. All buses ply from major cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Madurai, Pondicherry, and many more. By Rail: Kollam is a major railhead of the south railways where all the major trains stop. There is a daily train called The Kerala Express connecting Delhi with Kollam, which departs from New Delhi around 11:30 AM and reaches Kollam at 1 PM.
