Both Jammu and Kashmir, as well as Ladakh, have their own airports. In Srinagar, the only airport is Sheikh-Ul-Alam International Airport, which was earlier known as Srinagar Airport. It operates flights to all the major cities of India including Delhi, Goa, Leh, Mumbai, Bangalore and Jammu. IndiGo, Air India, GoAir and Jet Airways are some of the flights that operate from this airport.
The major airport in Jammu is the Jammu Airport. It was earlier known as Jammu Civil Enclave. It operates domestic flights, with some of them being SpiceJet, Vistara, IndiGo and GoAir.
The only airport in Ladakh is situated in Leh. Known as Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, it is situated at a height of almost 10,682 feet. Some of the flights operated by it are Vistara, GoAir, Air India and SpiceJet.
