The WelcomeHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace is a beautiful hotel built in red sandstone and reflects a typical Rajput architectural style. It is located 5 kilometers north of the city and overlooks the still and clear Bal Samand Lake, which was created in the 13th Century as a water reservoir that supplied drinking water to the city. Today the lake compliments the lush green lawns and beautifully-kept terrace gardens of the property and provide a scenic view of the lake and the city to the guests. This prime property has now been fitted with modern amenities & comforts which however do not take away the old world charm of the palace.
