Ganga Water Rally Festival in Uttar Pradesh

In the month of November, the city of Prayagraj hosts a spectacular event, Ganga Water Rally, that allows visitors to bring out the adventurer hidden inside them through enthralling watersports. Run for a period of three days, the much-celebrated festival in Uttar Pradesh is celebrated with an aim to promote adventure sports in Uttar Pradesh while encouraging the state tourism. As the name suggests, the festival hosts a large rally through water which starts from Prayagraj and ends at Varanasi via Mirzapur and Chunar. The entire rally runs along the holy Ganga River. Through the rally, an important message of 'Keep Ganga Clean' is also conveyed to the people of the town located along the Ganga River.
