Param Vir Chakra is India's biggest heroism award which is awarded to the officers and commissioned personnel of all military branches for the highest degree of bravery and self-sacrifice. Param Vir Chakra Memorial will remind the people of the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers in the post-Independence era.

Param Vir Chakra Memorial takes around 20 minutes at a distance of 8.9 kilometres from central Port Blair.
