The wildlife safaris of this zone is very famous, often the visitors choose Sitabani when permits for Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR) is not given. During the safari in this zone, you can get a chance to spot tigers, elephants, leopards, deer, wild boar, jackal and many other animals.
Sitabani zone is a prominent place amongst bird watchers; one can see birds like emerald dove, white bush chat, oriental-pied, red wattle lapwing, rested kingfisher etc. You can also get a glimpse of the vultures. And the best part is, Sitabani is open throughout the year and has absolutely no limit for vehicles entering the area for safari tours. Sitabani also provides ashram where tourists can take the rest for a while. For the safari in Sitabani zone, you have to avail a permit from the forest officials at the entry gate.
