How to Reach Kufri?

Kufri is situated near the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla and it is therefore well-connected to all the major cities of the country by air, road and rail.

By Air:

The nearest airport to Kufri is the Jubbarhatti Airport in Shimla (15 km away). However, this airport only accommodates a limited number of flights in a week. The more convenient airport near Kufri is the Chandigarh Airport (138 km away). Buses and cabs are available at regular intervals from these places to reach Kufri.

By Rail:

The nearest railway stations to Kufri are the Shimla Railway Station (15 km away) and the Kalka Railway Station (100 km away). One can board a bus or hire a taxi from here to reach Kufri.

By Road:

Frequent buses ply between Kufri and Shimla, Narkanda and Rampur. State run buses run regularly from Shimla to Kufri. National Highway 5 connects Shimla, Narkanda, Rampur, and Chandigarh with Kufri. Taxis are also available from these destinations.
