My love for hills is eternal and when it comes to visiting a hill station, a frisson of excitement runs through me and same is the case when I heard about Mahabaleshwar- a town tucked away in the lap of the Sahyadri Mountain ranges, South of Mumbai which is one of the best places to travel in India. The hill station is a beautiful hidden paradise with enchanting views and mystical landscapes. The cool, pleasant weather year round, the vistas of the sunset, the spectacular views of lush green hills,  and sunrise, the enormous expanse of evergreen forests make the place a must visit tourist destination in India. If you have been planning a trip to Mahabaleshwar, I am sure you must be wondering about the tourism places and things to be done in the picturesque hill station. Visiting the museum, you would come across not just the the art and the creativity but also how the humanity have come together to create masterpieces. Also, what is not to be missed is to witness and admire the candles in the museum made by the virtually challenged children. If you are willing to, you can even purchase these candles as a part of charity.

5. Venna Lake


Winter Getaway for enjoying Horse Riding, Boating and Munch on Finger Licking Edibles Do not miss out on visiting the popular tourist spot in Mahabaleshwar i.e., the Veena Lake which is a manmade built in the year 1942.
