How to Reach Chandigarh

By Air: One can easily reach Chandigarh through direct flights from cities including, Delhi, Leh, and Amritsar. The airport is located at a distance of about 12 kms from the city center and it is well-connected to other parts of the country.

By Rail: The two important trains that runs daily to Chandigarh are Shatabdi Express and Himalayan Queen. These trains connect Chandigarh with Delhi and are also well-connected with other major cities of India.

By Road: The connectivity through Chandigarh is excellent as the city is benefitted with two national highways, namely NH 21 (Ambala-Kinnaur) and NH 22 (Chandigarh-Leh). They serve this union territory by connecting it to other parts of the country, including many pilgrimage spots and hill stations like Manali, Shimla, Chel, etc. Also, there are several bus services, including air-conditioned, deluxe, and semi-deluxe that link Chandigarh to other neighboring cities.
